Sorry peeps, the net connections in India are few and far between and generally terrible.
Brief status:
Spent one glorious week in Darjeeling, including trekking to Nepali border to see Kantenjunga at sunrise for my birthday :)
Came across to Punjab and Amritsar, a horrible town around the gorgeous serene Sikh Golden Temple.
Bused all day and overnight to Srinagar in Kashmir! Spend a few days there... and now..
Am on the marathon TWO DAY bus trip from Srinagar to Leh. Am staying the night at Kargil, which is generally where India and Pakistan start fighting, as they are prone to do!
More later, and I'll reply to all your mails from Leh, I promise!
